Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP)
On completion of their studies in an eligible program at an eligible Canadian post-secondary institution, the international graduates can apply for a PGWP which allows them to work in Canada.
Under PGWP, international graduates:
- may obtain an open work permit for up to three years
- do not need an LMIA
Once PGWP is approved, the candidate can work with any Canadian employer.
PGWP is only one time opportunity.
